digital devices are not substitutes for material interaction, kids/people need to touch paper and paint and pens they need to play physically and Learn through doing!
Stop making art “apps”
My graphic design studio professor was talking in class today about doing work by hand vs. doing it on the computer, so I thought I’d see which one you guys preferred.
My professor is a strong believer in working by hand, but I fall somewhere in the middle. I think each method has its own benefits.
So are you a diehard handicraftsman or a computer modeling junkie?
It’s a mixture, whatever works

Is a statement that pops up a lot with my work, and yes I believe it. But. Perhaps it’s time to explore something else.
Something a bit more individual. (A taboo word these days) but perhaps something a little more engaging, a little more Art. (Dare I say the word!)
I’ve seen a lot of stuff today that has made me question, analyse. Apparently that’s what I do, deconstruct things and find meaning (sometimes in stuff that isn’t there) yet that’s a useful skill. I’m learning.
The challenge I suppose, is to change my game.
